I started Marquee Timber Floors in 2016 after working for what was one of the most prestigious floor sanding companies at the time. With over a decade of experience I started my business with the idea of bringing high end, luxury finishes at an affordable rate. We are a small family run business and keep the over heads low to pass on the savings.
We are currently based in the Yarra Valley were I grew up, but are more then happy to travel. We’ve done work across the state from restaurants in Richmond, holiday homes on the Mornington Peninsula, country residences on the skirts of Warragul and of course local homes and scout halls.
Coming from a larger company I had the opportunity to learn and practice many different aspects of the flooring world. I also completed my apprenticeship and certificate 3 in floor finishing. Completing the 4 year apprenticeship made sure my work was of a high standard, which I still practice to this day. I take pride in my work and still get a kick out of the finished project. The company is connected with the ATFA, (Australian Timber Flooring Association). To be apart of the ATFA you need to be qualified professional and provide a high quality of workmanship.
